The Neo is the most affordable electric scooter offering from Pune-based start-up Techno Electra. The scooter has an edgy design language with LED lighting all-around and is offered with a choice of four colour shades including red, black, white and fluorescent green.

The Neo is built around a rigid tubular chassis and is powered by a 250 Watt BDLC motor that draws its power from a pack of four 12V 20Ah lead-acid batteries. The battery pack takes around 5-7 hours for a full charge, which, according to the manufacturer, provides a range of 60-65 km. The Neo is certified by ARAI and comes with several features like a centre locking system, digital speedometer, mobile charging USB port and large boot space.

In the case of cycle parts, the e-scooter is suspended by telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorbers for the rear. Braking is taken care of by drum brakes at both ends. The scooter rides on 10-inch tubeless tyres and has a ground clearance of 150mm.
